it is interesting to see this town when its people have a unity of
purpose, a shared fate. it’s like a curfew to which all or most of us
submit voluntarily and with meek respect. strangers smiling at each other,
saying “good luck!” and “bring it on!” how long can it last? most of us
will be forced indoors for about 24 hours, not 24 days. it’s going to be a
restless, sleepless night in new york.

Most text content here is typed using a foldable, full-size keyboard that I carry in my pocket.
I have limited spell check, no easy access to a dictionary, and limited practical ability to beautify text with HTML or any other ML.
This web site contains grammar and spelling errors! If spelling errors horrify you then you must turn away now.
Sometimes I edit or clean up text entries when I am at a desktop computer but for the most part I keep these entries as-is, for to maintain the spirit of
funneling text through a mobile device.
This content originally resided at sorabji.com, but I decided to use sorabji.mobi instead. The .mobi top-level-domain was intended to be used
for online products and web sites designed for cell phones and mobile devices with smaller screens. I remember the .mobi landscape of the early 2000s and felt it resembled the
bewildered and confusing world of .com in the mid 1990s.
Alas, the .mobi top-level-domain was a bit of a bust, with limited practical value. Instead of using sorabji.mobi for content targeted for display on
mobile handsets I choose instead to use sorabji.mobi to post content that originates exclusively from cell phones, e-mail, and other mobile devices.
These pictures show a Treo which I formerly placed atop the Think Outside Bluetooth Keyboard. I don't use that keyboard any more, as it never worked well with the
Treo 700p.
