so let us see if this thing works, this new URL, this new thing. i managed to consume this whole day restoring that which was lost in th enovember blowout, only to find that big swaths of this bullshit will be very time consuming to restore. and after a while, after hours of computers refusing to do things, rejecting, i feel my innards clench up, turn to rancid cheese, i just can’t spend 2 hours debugging the printer, the freeware open source piece of shit software that promises to change my life, the coffee maker that belches coffee all over the counter, the next criminal in the relentless sequence of bullshit that plagues the individually subsistent.
i forget at times that i’ve been doing this .mobi thing since 2006. it was not always on .mobi, like it is as of today, but it’s always been .mobi. my definition of .mobi is a web site that shares content posted exclusively from mobile devices. the .mobi charter was in the interest of web sites which were suited for content to be read and rendered only on mobile devices. but .mobi was a bust. no one really cared ABOUT THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN .COM AND .MOBI WHEN templating systems and browser recognition served to distinguish the outputs with perfectly suitable efficiency.
